My name is Laura. I use they/them pronouns. I’m a writer. Not professionally, but it’s what I’d put on my business cards, if I had business cards.

I graduated from the University of Akron in 2016 with a degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing. I decided to take a year off school to decide what I really wanted to do. A year turned into two, but I eventually enrolled in Goucher College’s MFA program in Creative Nonfiction. So, yeah, I like to write.

Now, the question, why should you care?

I guess, technically, you don’t have to. But I would really appreciate it if you did. This will be how I get to practice writing. I’ll post essays, short posts, lists; the usual stuff you’d find on a blog. But I promise I’ll try to make it interesting enough to read.
